A new purpose for an Android device

A screen
for your AI.

Turn an Android phone or tablet into interactive tools and dashboards your AI can create. Keep them on display and use them by touch.

Your device. Your compatible AI.
A useful little place for them to meet.

In development. General availability
has not been announced.

YOUR DESK

A sample Wednesday

Sample clock time: 09:41

A little room
to focus.

CHOOSE YOUR NEXT THING

One useful thing at a time.

Choose a focus on the sample desk screen.

Illustrative browser examples with sample content. No AI or phone is connected. Choices stay in this tab and reset on reload.

Useful where
you need it.

A plan beside your keyboard. Steps beside your chopping board. A question you can answer without picking up your main phone.

01

Keep today in view.

A daily plan, a project board, a small tool made for the way you work. Ask your compatible AI to shape the screen around you.

At your desk
02

Work through it,
hands on.

Check a step. Tick an item. A page can respond to touch locally, without asking an AI for a new reply every time.

In your kitchen
03

Give your AI
an answer.

Supported input can be saved on the screen for an authorized client to retrieve when you continue the conversation.

A two-way exchange

A conversation.
A useful thing.

Your AI creates the interface. Your Android device gives it a place in your day.

  1. 01

    Ask.

Ask a compatible AI to make a useful screen.

  2. 02

    Display.

Send it to your connected Android phone or tablet.

  3. 03

    Touch.

Use its controls and save supported input.

  4. 04

    Continue.

Return to your AI conversation to retrieve the saved input.

Saving an answer does not automatically restart an idle AI conversation.

03 / THE STARTING POINT

Bring a screen.
Connect your AI.

Use a compatible Android phone or tablet and an AI client that supports the connection. Your AI account or subscription is separate.

You approve connected clients on the phone. Exact compatibility depends on your device, Android version, AI client, plan and connection.

Setup & compatibility

A NOTE ON WHERE WE ARE

A working foundation.
More qualification ahead.

Screen for AI is in development. The beta will be open to everyone, with no invitation needed. It is not available to install yet.

Demonstrated core
AI-created HTML screens, supported touch input and saved-answer retrieval, a local clock and on-device recovery controls.
Still being qualified
Delivery speed, unaided setup and specific device, client and connection combinations.
Planned extensions
Camera assistance, smart-home control and qualified automatic agent follow-up. These are not available yet.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you
make room.

Does it include an AI?

No. Screen for AI connects a compatible AI to a physical screen. AI services have their own accounts, terms and costs.

Will every Android device work?

No. Android is the initial platform, and support depends on the device and software. The beta compatibility matrix is still being qualified. Read the compatibility notes.

What works offline?

The built-in clock and on-device recovery controls work locally. AI delivery and external information need their supported connections. Arbitrary web content is not guaranteed to work offline.

Does a tap start an AI reply?

Supported input can be saved for an authorized client to retrieve. Continue the conversation unless a separately supported automation route is available.

Is this ready to install?

Not yet. When the beta starts it will be open to everyone, with no invitation or waiting list. The examples on this page are illustrations, not an app download.
