MAKE A LITTLE ROOM

Your screen.
Your AI. The connection.

Screen for AI is Android-first. You bring a compatible phone or tablet and an AI client that can connect to it.

What you need

Android compatibility

Android tiers being qualified for Screen for AI
Android versionCurrent qualification direction
Android 8.0 and newerFull tier. Specific devices, software versions and connection routes still need qualification.
Android 5.0–7.1Legacy tier under validation. Limited evidence on selected devices does not establish equal features or reliability across older phones.
Other platformsNo iOS or dedicated-hardware offer is announced.

Development checks on individual devices or AI clients are not universal compatibility guarantees. The published beta guide must identify the exact supported combinations and their limitations.

AI clients checked in development

As recorded on 15 October 2026, Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT have connected in tested development configurations. A client needs the relevant connector or Model Context Protocol (MCP) support to give an AI access to the screen.

These observations do not establish support for every version, plan, connection route or candidate build, and do not imply endorsement by an AI provider. Exact beta configurations remain under qualification; installation is not available yet.

The intended first-use flow

  1. Start with the local screen. The built-in clock is useful before an AI account is connected.
  2. Connect and approve. Follow the qualified setup instructions for your AI client and review the connection on your Android device.
  3. Ask for something useful. A daily plan, a checklist or a question is a simple place to begin.
  4. Use the screen. Supported controls can respond locally and save supported input.
  5. Continue the conversation. Ask your AI to retrieve the saved input through a supported connection.

Saving an answer does not automatically restart an idle AI conversation. A separately qualified automation route would need its own prerequisites.

What is not bundled

A displayed weather panel, calendar or recipe does not mean that Screen for AI includes a universal connection to that data source. External providers and permissions must be arranged through a supported AI or integration.

The homepage examples are synthetic browser illustrations. Camera assistance, smart-home control and automatic agent follow-up remain planned extensions; they are not available yet.

Installation, exact client setup and troubleshooting instructions will need to match the qualified beta build before publication.
